The evening was a by invitation only affair for select Wedding Planners/Coordinators and suppliers. Our invitation began with " The Philippines' Wedding and Banquet Specialist invites you to the most elegant night of the year in the catering industry... indulge in a five-star hotel dining event that no catering company has ever offered before"

Josiah's Catering has always valued its partnership with its industry partners. Hosting thanksgiving dinners every year to convey their appreciation and introducing new ideas, concepts and flavorful dishes that sets the trend in the industry. Josiah's Catering has been a top innovator in the catering industry for the past years and this event proved they are truly on top of their game.

Upon our arrival, usherettes greeted us looking so smart in their uniforms, the waiters served us cocktails and looked equally dignified in their black and green uniforms. We enjoyed our cocktails but suspense was what we all felt as we waited to be ushered into the Banyan Pavilion.

Once inside, we all took in the set-up which simply spelt elegance! So tastefully done in black and white under the very artistic direction of Ms. Beth Amat of Eve & Co. The 4th Wall did the stage, invites, place cards and menu cards were all color coordinated and made by the Write Impression. At our seats our souvenirs were waiting which consisted of a fondant slice from Judy Uson & a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

The string ensemble serenaded us as each of the nine-course meal was served. The waiters paraded into the hall and laid down the plates in sync with the music that accompanied each of the dish. It was certainly a culinary experience lovingly prepared by Chef Jasper Versoza , Chef Freshnaida Versoza and their team. A feast worthy of much accolade for the exquisite taste, artistic presentation and perfect timing as each dish was laid down….. It was, to say the least, truly impressive.

Friends from the industry made the event even more special giving us all a chance to catch up with each other. A great respite from our individual hectic schedules and all the work we do for our beloved clients. It is also a great way to prepare us Wedding Planners and suppliers for the busy months ahead!

To say we had fun would be an understatement! Because the entire event was spectacular, fabulous, avant- garde! And we were all in high spirits at our table ( well, perhaps the wine had something to do with that too!) It was great to chat with friends from old and to make new ones too.

Thank you Boying & Jet Versoza for an evening of good company, entertainment, delicious overflowing wine and above all, the gastronomic delight you shared with all of us! We salute your children Jasper, Fresh and Josiah for an event we will all truly remember a job well done! They are indeed you most wonderful treasures. Congratulations and more power!!
